I am Kate Hurley, a drama practitioner with over 20 years of teaching and directing experience. After growing up in the South Wales valleys, I moved to Exmouth in 1999 to complete a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre and Performance with Music and English at University of Plymouth. I have lived in the town ever since. 

A mother with two sons, I juggle family life with a range of professional activities that include teaching, training, consulting, researching, studying and facilitating drama workshops.

I’m passionate about using drama and performance techniques for personal development and mental health. My approach is supportive, fun, and tailored to your everyone's individual needs. 

The majority of my work has been with children and young people, but I am now thoroughly enjoying working with adults and seeing the benefits that engaging with drama can have on our lives.
